Captain Duane Baker has been fishing the back country of the Citrus county coast for twenty  years.  He is a Florida native who grew up fishing the Tampa Bay area.

The Chassahowitzka River (Chass) is a beautiful natural spring fed river that leads to the back country creeks and marshes where the big redfish, trout and snook live.

A little farther out are the flats of the Gulf of Mexico aka the Scallop grounds.

The “Bonaroo” is a 20 foot Micro draft skiff equipped with a 60hp Mercury outboard motor, and Talon shallow water anchor.  She has a wide beam and a lots room perfect for fishing the flats and back country.
